I really really like this picture, which is a discovery. It says a lot about the infinite possibility of boredom, which is what summer stands for for me!
There is something magic about summer. Lazy, restful, life affirming! I don't have Seasonal Affective Disorder in winter. But I can see my mood becoming worse, once the skies turn grey.
If we didn't originate on the savannah, we should have. There's something so right about this season. I should show more of Rene-Jacques, an underrepresented photographer in English-speaking countries.

Kristin, I would love to know what caused that triangular shadow on the pillar. A mystery.
P. S., a terrace is such a lovely perch for watching the world go by. This part of it looks like the Mediterranean to me.
